Makeover for the HFA Bridge Café in Watsonia Pavilion, Beeston

Funding has enabled a full refurbishment of the Bridge Café in Cross Flatts Park, Beeston where local people enjoy drinks, meals and tasty snacks prepared by learning disabled trainees learning hospitality skills, supported by the HFA Learning Disabilities service. UK Shared Prosperity funds supported installation of a new kitchen, air conditioning and the canopy providing shelter for the outside seating. The café provides a valuable community facility for a range of local events including the weekly Park Runs, Summer Bands in the Park, Beeston Festival, Getting Active events, Warm Space, Community Food Pantry and many more community activities.
