Receptionist & Administration Assistant (Ref: 276) CLOSED

If so, we would love you to come and join our core team at Beeston Village Community Centre in South Leeds

You will be first point of contact for all staff, tenants and visitors to Beeston Village Community Centre, providing a welcoming atmosphere whilst also undertaking general reception and administration duties. Working closely with the Centre Coordinator and caretakers.

The role will involve answering incoming telephone calls, welcoming and answering queries from visitors to the centre. Ensuring room hire bookings are dealt with smoothly and efficiently. Setting up rooms for meetings and events ensuring these are set up to a high standard.

We are looking for someone who has the flexibility to work Monday to Friday (exact days and hours to be agreed on appointment). Late Afternoon / evening cover will be required as per the needs of the service.

  • Days/Hours: 15 hrs per week, with flexibility for late afternoon / evening cover (Exact days to be discussed at interview)
  • Salary: Meets National Living wage

Sessional Assistant Sports Coach – Active Clubs Experience Project

Are you inspired to engage children in sports activities?

Are you a committed, enthusiastic and flexible team player who can work in a variety of community and school settings?

If so we would love you to come and join our pool of sessional assistant sports coaches.

We are looking to expand our team of Sessional Assistant Sports Coaches and have excellent opportunities for individuals to join our Active Clubs Experience team. Based in a range of school and community settings, we are looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and committed individuals to deliver high quality, active sports sessions that will engage children of all abilities from a range of diverse backgrounds.

Successful applicants should have experience of working in a team, possess excellent communication skills and be able to assist in the delivery of a range of high quality innovative sports and physical activities to children and young people. Experience and a qualification in sports coaching is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

Due to the nature of this role, working hours may include before, during and after school times so flexibility will be required from applicants.

  • Zero Hours – hours to be discussed at interview
  • Hourly rate of pay meets National Minimum Wage
