Volunteering

As a community focused Leeds based charity we welcome support in many forms, including volunteering time and skills, both personal and corporate, to our projects and beneficiaries. We’ve listed below some examples of what our amazing volunteer support enables us to do.

  • 2 hours

…Of time equals the provision of one luncheon club for older, isolated people and helps us reduce the impact of loneliness on older people.

  • 1 home baked cake

…Leads to conversation over tea and coffee, where our service users can feel listened to and part of their community.

  • 1 Skills swap session

Sharing skills like knitting, sewing and other craft based activities bridges generational gaps and brings local communities together.

Volunteer opportunities

Corporate skills

Because we work with those who struggle to access mainstream services, supporting us to offer vital skills like interviewing, money management and CV writing can make a huge difference in helping people return to work and giving them confidence in their skills and abilities.

We also welcome those with experience in applying for small grants and funding to ensure we can keep delivering our groups, projects and services.
