New community centre in west Leeds

Exciting news that with support from Health for All, LifeWaters Ministries have successfully secured funding for their Life Matters project which involves development of the ground floor of their building in west Leeds into a new community centre. The new Centre is situated on a busy street in the heart of a neighbourhood marked by high levels of deprivation, homelessness, food poverty, providing an open access, welcoming space for people of all ages.

The Community Centre will host a range of services for local people including peer support groups for vulnerable women, vulnerable men, a Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry, a Youth Group and a Children’s Playscheme in school holiday
