Martin Dean

Now retired after 35 years’ experience working in the public sector, leading teams working to improve life in our poorest communities.

Martin is working as an associate at Leeds Community Foundation.

He is familiar with different communities in Leeds and its neighborhoods, and different life chances for different groups.  He believes local action, local knowledge and creative thinking has the best chance of driving change, tackling social determinants of health and reducing health inequalities.

He has extensive experience in governance, and strategic direction in the third sector.
