Cranmore and Raylands Centre is located in the heart of Belle Isle. Lying unused for four years, local residents requested support from HFA to bring it back into community use. Thanks to a Jimbos Fund grant through Leeds Community Foundation, we were able to begin transformation of the building which has a large activity hall, IT Access suite, a thriving Community Food Pantry, a Skills/Construction Hub and horticultural area with additional outside activity space. Additional capital funding and a three year revenue grant from the National Lottery Community Fund, commencing Spring 2020, supported staff posts to manage and develop the centre, recruit volunteers and support local community groups including:

  • Ultimate Dance
  • Signposting CafĂ©
  • Friday Breakfast Club
  • Zumba, Tai Chi, Yoga
  • Woodwork
  • Mindful Makes
  • Knit and Natter
  • Menspace
  • Boxercise
  • Cranmore Community Food Pantry
