Breastfeeding Support Workers (Ref: 279)

Do you have experience of working with pregnant families and/or families in the early perinatal period?

Are you committed to enabling mothers to breastfeed for as long as they wish?

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to support parents to breastfeed for as long as they wish. The role will focus on engaging with new parents and wider family offering them practical support. You will be able to help connect parents to other services and opportunities. The successful candidates will manage their own caseload of families from initial referral through to discharge. You will have excellent communication and listening skills and provide advice both face to face, telephone and video conferencing.

The work will focus on the target wards of Bowling and Barkerend, Bradford Moor, Little Horton, Manningham, Heaton, Toller, Great Horton, City and Shipley and will work collaboratively with partner agencies and families to develop a social model for breastfeeding in the Bradford district.

We are looking for a number of support workers to join our expanding team, various contracts available ranging from 16 hours – 35 hours per week.

  • Hours: 16 hours – 35 hours per week Monday to Friday (Requirement for flexibility for weekend work).
  • Contract Type: Fixed term contract until the end of March 2025.
  • Salary: £23,000 full time equivalent /£10,508.16 Actual per annum

Finance Administrator (Ref: 278) CLOSED

Are you an experienced Finance Administrator looking for an exciting opportunity in the charity sector?

Can you work as part of a small core team?

Do you have excellent Administration and Communication skills?

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed individual to join our finance team. This part time role plays a pivotal role within the finance team providing day to day finance support to all projects delivered by Health for All. The role will focus on ensuring accurate financial records are kept up to date using QuickBooks to account for all financial records.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience within the finance function of a charity. The successful applicants should have excellent communication and organisational skills and be interested in working in a small finance office team.

  • Hours: 17.5 hours per week (days to be discussed at interview)
  • Salary: £21,840 full time equivalent / £10,920 actual annual salary
