My name is Tracey, I have lived on the Cottingley estate for around 16 years. I first started visiting the Community Centre for Bingo night and pizza night. The Centre is a great help for my mental health, I don’t have to hide my feelings and emotions. There’s always someone to talk to, which you don’t always have at home. I became a member of Cottingley Food Pantry when it first opened. The staff in the food pantry are friendly and helpful. There’s plenty of variety and my weekly shop at the pantry really helps
me cope with the cost of living crisis, food is so expensive. It’s good too not having to carry heavy things from the supermarket. Friday is Pantry Day and the only day I set my alarm clock! I really enjoy coming to the centre. It’s my life saver.”
