Green Futures Youth Group

Award winning Green Futures Youth Group in Beeston delivered a presentation and ran a stall in May at Leeds Playhouse to help young people deepen their understanding of climate change and climate solutions, and share ideas about youth climate action. This event enabled the young leaders to express their passion to take action to address climate change in addition to educating themselves, their peers, their families and the community. The group lead creative sustainability workshops including; button making, photo booth with giant photo frame, decorating plant pots with seeds, creating musical bottles, stop wasting food/ Save energy at home- pledges on tree, ‘Don’t litter in the ocean’ sea theme CD decoration with facts and pictures.
