Positive Destinations

We believe an important way to achieve real change in young people’s lives is by using a ‘whole family approach’. Our Positive Destinations project works with young people aged 16-18 not in education, employment or training (NEET) who have fallen through the gaps in mainstream services.

  • 500 families supported annually
  • 150 mental health support sessions for parents annually
  • 100 families supported with learning & employment annually

Through motivational 1-2-1 and group support, which includes working closely with parents and carers, we instill confidence in young people and give them hope and new aspirations to enter training or work so overcoming barriers which get in the way of lasting transformational change. The project helps young people acquire employability skills through CV writing workshops, volunteering opportunities, enterprise projects and coaching sessions, supporting them in their journey towards achieving their long term goals.
