Supporting Wellbeing Groups
Health for All supports over 50 small independent groups which offer members a lifeline of support and stimulating activities including gardening, singing and community choirs, exercise, walking, creative arts, woodwork, peer support, friendship, all improving participants’ sense of achievement and wellbeing. Our staff help groups recruit volunteers, book venues, design publicity, supporting the group committees to secure and account for small grants. The groups reduce social isolation and improve members’ mental and physical health, reducing the risk of self harm and suicide.
