Learning Disabilities Service - Family information day
On Wednesday 23rd June 2010 at the Holbeck Youth Centre, the new Learning Disabilities Service in partnership with Beeston Action For Families held an information day for families, carers and people with learning disabilities.
There was a wide range of activities for people to participate in including arts and crafts, cake decorating and story telling. There were also many stalls from Health for All including Enterprise Awareness, the Children’s Project and Healthy Communities. Beeston Action for Families and Leeds City Council were also promoting their services.
The activities were a great success and the cake decorating provided by the Enterprise Awareness team proved to be very popular. The event was attended by more than 60 people.
