NEW In Common Project Launches
Health for All is launching a new In Common Support Team funded by Leeds Adult Social Care through the Day Services Modernisation Programme.
It will provide people with learning disabilities access, with additional support, to all existing groups and activities. People will be able to choose where they go and what they want to do based on what they have in common with other members of the community.
People will also be asked about what else they would be interested in and what else they would like to do. Health for All will use community development approaches to support and empower people to develop and access new groups and activities they wish to start.
The funding will last until March 2012.
