Improving Health
One of Health for All’s original aims is to redress health inequalities. All projects run by Health for All are centred on communities in which health outcomes are relatively poor and affected by high levels of deprivation.
The work aims to improve the health of individuals, families and communities by equipping them with the knowledge, skills and support needed to make healthy lifestyle choices and address the root causes of poor health, including poverty, deprivation, worklessness, poor relationships, housing and environmental factors.
